In 1975 Marvel went back to their Timely roots and created the Invaders, who essentially were the All-Winners Squad during the World War II era.  Pencils by Frank Robbins, Inks by John Romita.

all winners comics’ covers used to show captain america, sub-mariner and the human torch fighting as a team.  but the comic itself was pretty much a collection of solo stories.  then in all winners 19, they formed a team (incited by dc’s all star comics maybe?)
